Deus Ex Go is now available for $4.99.

Deus Ex Go

Deus Ex Go has gone live and is now available to download on Android and iOS devices. This stealthy, strategic little puzzle game will set you back a cool $5 USD, and I’m willing to bet that it’s worth every penny and more. The Go series of games from Square Enix have all been critically acclaimed. Hitman Go and Lara Croft Go were both huge successes, and the latter game won Apple’s iPhone Game of the Year for 2015. Deus Ex Go looks to carry on that legacy of greatness, and do so with style.

If you’re not familiar with the Go formula, it’s basically a strategic board game in video game form. It’s a turn-based puzzle adventure that takes place on a grid-style map. You control a little figurine of Adam Jensen and use your hacking, combat, and augmentations to solve various puzzles, topple turrets and enemies, and progress the story. At launch you can expect over 50 story levels, and Square Enix stated in its press release that they’d be adding a new level every weekday.

Playing through Deus Ex Go will also enhance your playthrough of Mankind Divided. The newest flagship Deus Ex hits consoles and PC on August 23, and as you complete missions in Deus Ex Go you’ll unlock additional Praxis Kits to use in Mankind Divided. As if that weren’t enough for your money, Square Enix announced that a puzzle editor will go live shortly after launch as well, so you’ll be able to create your own challenging stages and share them online with your friends. That could offer virtually endless replay value right there. Seriously, for $5 you have nothing to lose.
