Vampire Survivors is getting a fresh batch of content this summer. Legacy of the Blood Moon is scheduled to release on August 28, 2026, with new characters, equipment, music, and a larger stage included in the DLC.
As reported by Nintendo Everything, the expansion’s announced content is spread across several parts of the game. The current list provides firm totals for most additions, while leaving some room for the arsenal to grow beyond its stated minimum.
More characters and weapons
Legacy of the Blood Moon will add 12 new characters to Vampire Survivors. Its equipment selection will include 16 or more new weapons and evolutions.
That “or more” wording makes the weapon and evolution count the only open-ended total among the reported additions. The character lineup, meanwhile, has a specific confirmed size ahead of release.
Together, these additions account for the roster and equipment portions of the DLC, alongside the separate stage and soundtrack content.
A new XL stage and soundtrack
The expansion will also contain one new XL stage, adding another location to its content list. Eight new music tracks are included as well.
Those announced features complete the current outline for Legacy of the Blood Moon: an expanded character roster, additional weapons and evolutions, a fresh large-format stage, and more music.
