The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta is live, but getting into a match may not be immediate. Insider Gaming reports that full servers and missing beta updates are the main issues currently preventing some players from accessing the game.
That leaves affected players facing two different roadblocks: waiting for capacity to open or making sure their game client is fully updated.
Full servers mean waiting in line
When the beta’s servers are full, players may be placed in a queue until a spot becomes available. In that situation, access depends on server capacity rather than an issue with the player’s installation.
The practical outcome is straightforward, if frustrating: players caught in the queue may simply need to wait. A server spot must become available before they can enter the beta.
Check for the latest beta update
The other reported cause is an outdated beta client. Players who have not installed the latest update may be blocked from playing even when the beta itself is running.
Checking that the newest beta update has been downloaded and installed can help distinguish a local version problem from a capacity-related queue. If the client is current and access remains unavailable, full servers may be the reason.
Have you managed to enter the Modern Warfare 4 beta, or are server queues and update checks still keeping you out?
