Sony Highlights Halloween Horror Games on PS Plus, With Resident Evil for Premium

Sony is marking Halloween 2026 with a horror-themed selection on PlayStation Plus, according to Kotaku. The practical detail for anyone choosing a seasonal scare is the subscription split: Premium is required for the PS1 Resident Evil trilogy, rather than the entire recommended selection.

The other recommended horror games are available to download and play through PS Plus Extra. For Extra subscribers, that means the recommendations aren’t a blanket invitation to upgrade — Premium only enters the picture here if the original PlayStation Resident Evil trilogy is on the Halloween playlist.
