ANOMALITH is out now following its October 29 (JST) release, with a launch trailer live alongside an official producer’s letter on Steam.
The letter puts a number on the interest heading into launch: ANOMALITH had surpassed 130,000 Steam wishlists by the time the producer wrote it. For players whose introduction came through the demo, that version represents about 10% of the full game.
ANOMALITH’s Anomaly Zones draw inspiration from old Japanese shopping streets and apartment complexes. Those everyday settings give its central mystery a familiar backdrop, while the story gradually unravels both the origins of the zones and the mysteries surrounding protagonist Reona Minazuki.
The letter also describes the feedback process behind the demo’s polish. The development team says it checked player feedback and impressions on Discord, X, and the Steam Community every day while refining it.
