World of Warships has announced Horror From the Abyss, a new Operation-based event coming in Update 15.10, in its official teaser on Steam. The update will also bring the first European cruiser line into Early Access and overhaul the in-battle Information Screen.
Horror From the Abyss puts players on an investigation into strange phenomena in the Bermuda Triangle alongside other players. They’ll also confront a shadowy cult, giving the event a supernatural mystery premise rather than simply a new naval setting.
For players interested in expanding their fleet, two ships from the European cruiser line will be obtainable for free. The line is entering Early Access with this update, rather than being presented as a general release.
Beyond the event and ships, the Information Screen overhaul brings a change to the in-battle interface. Update 15.10 will also include additional events, content additions, and game improvements.
