One Piece Card Game is bringing major fantasy-art pedigree to an upcoming set. As Polygon reports, Booster Pack Vol. 18 will include Loki and Shamrock cards illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano when it arrives in November 2026.
The collaboration gives players and collectors two new pieces from an artist closely tied to the formative years of Final Fantasy. It also continues Amano’s recent work in the trading card space.
Final Fantasy artistry meets One Piece
Amano created much of the iconic artwork and character designs associated with the first six Final Fantasy titles. His work became a defining part of those early games’ visual identity, making his involvement with One Piece Card Game a notable meeting of two major Japanese entertainment properties.
Loki and Shamrock are the confirmed characters receiving his artwork in the booster pack. For collectors drawn to artist-focused cards, both additions offer a fresh opportunity to own contemporary Amano illustrations in playable form.
Amano returns to trading cards
This is not Amano’s first recent contribution to a major card game. In 2025, he created new artwork for Final Fantasy crossover cards in Magic: The Gathering.
His latest collaboration shifts the focus to One Piece, adding another franchise to his growing body of card-game work. With the release still some distance away, these two illustrations provide an early highlight for the upcoming booster.
