Arc Raiders’ next Expedition is getting a longer runway—and then an extended break. Eurogamer reports that Embark Studios has confirmed the game’s fifth Expedition, opening next month, will be the last until early 2027.
That gives this upcoming run added importance, but players will also have more time and flexibility to decide how they want to approach it.
A three-week Expedition window
The Expedition Window opens on 8 September and closes on 29 September. It will remain available for three weeks, expanding the previous two-week format and giving players an additional stretch of time to participate.
Embark is also changing how quest progress works. Resetting that progress will now be optional rather than mandatory, allowing players to take part without being forced to wipe their completed quest work.
Together, the extended schedule and optional reset make this final Expedition before the pause less restrictive than earlier outings.
Trials returns after a short gap
Trials will follow its own schedule around the Expedition period. The current season ends on 22 September, while the mode returns on 8 October.
That places the Trials break shortly before the Expedition Window closes, followed by its return soon afterward. Expeditions, however, will remain unavailable for considerably longer, with no additional run planned before the confirmed return period.
Does the optional quest reset make you more likely to join Arc Raiders’ final Expedition before the extended pause?
