Gamescom 2026 is lining up major appearances for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past, Fable, and Persona 4 Revival across its broadcasts.
As detailed in Polygon’s confirmed-games roundup, the schedule includes new information, a first live gameplay presentation, and a dedicated Xbox stream appearance.
Opening Night Live sets its fantasy lineup
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will appear during Gamescom Opening Night Live, Polygon reports. Director Naoki Hamaguchi is set to reveal more about the finale of the trilogy.
CD Projekt Red has also confirmed that The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past will be part of Opening Night Live. The company will share more about the project during the broadcast, adding another confirmed presentation to the event’s opening showcase.
Fable gameplay and Persona’s Xbox appearance
Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, with Gamescom providing the first look at its live gameplay. Polygon’s report confirms that this will be the first opportunity to see the game played live.
Persona 4 Revival will follow elsewhere in the Gamescom schedule. Polygon reports that it will be shown during Xbox’s annual Gamescom stream on August 26.
The four games are split across different presentations, giving viewers more than one broadcast to track. Which are you most eager to see: more from Final Fantasy’s trilogy finale, Songs of the Past, Fable’s first live gameplay, or Persona 4 Revival?
