War Thunder’s Eagle’s Shadow major update will add the Fulmar Mk.II to Britain’s research tree as a Rank I naval fighter. The official announcement places it in a notable gap: Britain previously lacked a researchable monoplane fighter at that rank.
Its handling comes with a clear trade-off. The Fulmar Mk.II has low agility, including a slow roll, but an impressive dive speed. That combination suggests an aircraft better suited to making deliberate attack passes than relying on quick changes of direction. These are preview details, though, and vehicle specifications may be revised before it joins the game.
For bomb loads, the Fulmar Mk.II can carry either one 500 lb bomb or two 250 lb bombs. The smaller bombs can be dropped separately, making the choice more than a question of bomb size: pilots can commit the load in one drop or split it across two releases.
