Dawn of the Delta, the latest expansion for Anno 117: Pax Romana, is now available, putting players in charge of Aegyptus as governor. The new province lies in the south of the empire, with river floods, different irrigation methods and new production chains among its additions.
The official announcement also confirms a new raider and identifies Romanization as part of the expansion. Alongside the production additions, that gives Aegyptus a mix of environmental, economic and cultural concerns rather than simply a new location to govern.
For players weighing up whether to continue or restart, Aegyptus can be incorporated into any existing save game. There’s also a fresh-start option: players beginning a new game can select Aegyptus as their starting province.
