Tropico 7’s digital pre-orders open today with a 10% discount, alongside a free demo for Steam Next Fest, according to the game’s official announcement. The two arrive ahead of its previously announced January 28, 2027 launch, giving players a chance to sample the campaign before deciding whether to put money down.
The demo contains the first campaign mission, “Little Great Britain.” That makes the campaign’s opening the place to start for anyone more interested in trying Tropico 7 than comparing pre-order extras.
Digital pre-orders are available for PC through Steam, Epic Store and Kalypso Store, as well as Xbox on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. There’s an important distinction for PlayStation buyers: the 10% pre-order discount applies only to PlayStation Plus members.
Everyone who pre-orders receives the Supervillain DLC, which includes a new outfit for El Presidente. Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition also grants access to Tropico 7 48 hours before its official launch. The early start is tied specifically to that edition’s pre-order, rather than being a general pre-order benefit.
The Deluxe Edition’s digital bonus content includes the Bunker palace façade, a Revolutionary outfit and seven presidential decoration items. Beyond those additions, it also comes with the digital compendium “Making of Tropico 7” and the Original Soundtrack as a digital download.
