GTA 6 gameplay takes the Thursday slot
Rockstar’s planned showing will be the first official gameplay presentation for GTA 6. The timing places one of gaming’s most closely watched upcoming releases directly into a period that has traditionally been quieter for the industry.
That annual gap typically follows the early-June previews surrounding E3 and Summer Game Fest. Activity then tends to remain reduced until the next major preview cycle begins around Gamescom in late August.

Insomniac has also brought Marvel’s Wolverine into the conversation by releasing hands-on previews of the game. Together, the Wolverine coverage and Rockstar’s Thursday plans give the customary mid-summer gap a pair of notable updates.
