Rockstar Games is preparing a longer look at Grand Theft Auto VI, and Netflix subscribers will be first in line to watch it. The presentation, titled Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, will debut on the streaming service before arriving through Rockstar-owned channels.
As first reported by Kotaku, the arrangement gives Netflix the opening window for Rockstar’s latest official look at the anticipated sequel. It also means the feature will not remain limited to subscribers, with Rockstar set to distribute it through its own outlets afterward.
Netflix takes the first-access slot
The release plan is straightforward: subscribers get early access through Netflix, followed by availability on Rockstar’s channels. That gives fans two official routes to the extended look, although Netflix will be the destination for anyone wanting to catch it first.
Rockstar has not confined the presentation to the streaming platform, keeping a direct release available through its established channels as well.
Another look before launch
The extended feature arrives ahead of Grand Theft Auto VI’s scheduled release in November 2026. Beyond that timing, Rockstar’s announcement centers on where viewers can see the presentation and who gets priority access.
Will Netflix’s early window convince you to watch there, or will you wait for the extended look to reach Rockstar’s own channels?
