Polaroid is giving instant photography a Pokémon makeover for the franchise’s 30th anniversary. According to Engadget Gaming, the celebratory collection will include themed cameras, instant film, and accessories.
Sylveon style meets Pokéball nostalgia
The Polaroid Go Camera Generation 3 Pokémon Sylveon Edition features a white-and-pink body paired with a multicolored strap. Its design draws directly from Sylveon’s distinctive ribbons and bows, bringing the Pokémon’s recognizable look to both the camera and its carrying accessory.
Polaroid is also taking inspiration from the franchise’s most iconic piece of equipment. The third-generation Pokémon Edition of the Polaroid Now uses a red, white, and black color scheme based on the classic Pokéball. That theme extends to the shutter button itself, which is shaped like a Pokéball for an extra visual flourish.
Two price points for the anniversary lineup
Polaroid plans to release two Pokémon-themed Go cameras, with each model priced at $100. The larger-format Now Pokémon Edition will cost $140.
While details provided so far focus on the Sylveon and Pokéball-inspired designs, the wider collection also extends beyond hardware through matching instant film and accessories. Together, the products turn Pokémon’s milestone celebration into a full instant-camera lineup rather than a single commemorative release.
