Pocketpair CEO Takuru Mizobi would love to see Palworld on Nintendo Switch 2, he said in comments on Discord relayed by Insider Gaming. His interest comes with Nintendo’s patent-infringement lawsuit against the developer still ongoing.
Mizobi said Pocketpair would welcome conversations if an opportunity arose to discuss or consider bringing Palworld to the Switch platform. That is an expression of willingness to talk, rather than a Switch 2 release announcement — a meaningful distinction for players hoping to play it on Nintendo’s hardware.
The legal dispute concerns features included in older versions of Palworld. Features cited in the case, including throwing a Pal Sphere to call in a Pal, have since been removed from the game. The next scheduled court development is November 9, when the Tokyo District Court is due to issue a preliminary view.
