Perception is a first-person horror game played from the perspective of a blind woman. Players are able to ‘see’ by tapping their walking stick on objects which illuminates the world around them. The only tools in the game which help the player see are the walking stick, a smartphone and the ability to hear.
The game sends the player to a mansion which is haunted by a being known only as “the presence”. Details about what it is and it’s purpose in the game are still unknown.
Developer The Deep End Games announced that the game would be coming to the Xbox One on the Xbox Wire today. The team behind the game has previously worked on titles such as BioShock and Dead Space.
Perception was first announced in 2015 for the PC and PlayStation 4. The horror game doesn’t have a release date just yet but the developers should release this information soon. We will update you once we know more.
