PAYDAY: Aces High’s developers have announced that all new heists will be free for everyone who owns the game, for as long as development continues. The official Steam announcement also rules out hidden fees or a battle pass for those regular free heists.
The next addition already has a release window: the game’s seventh heist is due as free DLC in one month. That puts a near-term content release behind the broader commitment, rather than leaving the free-heist policy as a distant plan.
The first patch is also already in development, with a restart button and a haptics-intensity slider among its planned additions. There’s a lighter touch on the feature list, too: toilet rolls will get a paper trail.
Alongside those additions, the patch will address cameras spinning when they detect players and drones flying into walls. Teammates should also become more helpful when picking up loot bags. Those fixes target detection, navigation and loot handling — a practical set of improvements to accompany the new controls and bathroom business.
