One More Level Launches Valor Mortis on Steam After Three Years
Valor Mortis is now available on Steam. One More Level says it spent the past three years developing what it calls its biggest game to date. The launch follows an open Steam playtest held a year ago and a demo released in June.
According to the studio, feedback gathered from players helped improve the game’s polish, optimization, and balance in recent months. One More Level describes the finished release as a 20-hour campaign with more bosses, environments, and quests.
The immediate launch package also includes a Deluxe Edition built around cosmetic weapon-skin packs. Its first pack can be unlocked now, although the announcement does not specify pricing for either edition.
Launch day is not the end of One More Level’s plans. The developer intends to release a major story DLC next year, adding another adventure set within the world of Valor Mortis. Its exact release date, scope, and price have not yet been detailed.
In the meantime, players who encounter gameplay problems can submit reports through the Bugs and Issues section of the game’s Steam forum or use the support website provided by the developer. With the main campaign now live, attention shifts from playtest feedback and final balancing to post-launch support—and the larger story expansion planned for next year.
