Hood Warfare 2 patch 1.0.10 adds two substantial multiplayer tools: built-in voice chat and an anti-cheat system. Voice communication can be directed either to the entire lobby or exclusively to a player’s team, giving groups a choice between broad conversation and team-focused coordination.
The voice-chat settings support both push-to-talk and open-mic configurations. Push-to-talk is enabled by default and assigned to the T key, so players who want continuous transmission will need to select the open-mic option instead. The important detail is the separation between team and lobby chat, rather than a single universal channel.
Patch 1.0.10 also implements an anti-cheat system in response to player concerns about cheating. Its stated purpose is to help prevent cheating, although the announcement does not explain how the system operates or provide any measure of its effectiveness. That makes this an initial enforcement step rather than evidence of how much cheating it will stop in practice.
Reporting remains part of that process. Players who encounter a suspected cheater are being directed to the Report feature found in the pause menu, and the Hood Warfare 2 team says it reviews those reports often. Together, the additions give players a direct way to communicate during matches and a defined route for flagging suspected misconduct.
