Microsoft has just revealed that their recently released game will be getting a demo. The demo has already been released for the Xbox one but Microsoft has announced that it will be coming to the PC also.
In a blog post released yesterday, Microsoft revealed their plans for the demo. According to the blog post, the demo allows players to start the single player campaign.
The demo allows players to fight through the first mission in the game. Mission One is called “The Signal” and teaches players the basics of the game. However, it does have an objective for players to complete. It introduces the player to the world of the new game and the story is built in the cutscenes before and after the mission has been completed.
In addition to the single player campaign, the demo also contains the new Blitz mode. It features the “Blitz Firefight” mode which is a spin-off the full mode in the game. This version only contains two pre-built decks for the player to use against the AI. The blog post don’t confirm if the demo version of this mode allows players to create their own decks or play online against other players.
The Halo Wars 2 demo is now available for Xbox One users. Anyone with a Xbox Live Gold account will be able to download and play the demo but it’s limited to Xbox Live Gold players only.
Microsoft has also confirmed that the demo will be coming to the PC in the future. The Halo Wars 2 demo will be released for the Windows 10 store but Microsoft hasn’t confirmed if the demo will also be released on Steam.
Xbox One owners should be able to download the demo now. However, Windows 10 users will need to wait a little while longer. There is no word on when the demo will be released for PC. We will update you as the situation unfolds.
