The Xbox team have just announced that another game will be getting a free trial weekend starting today. The latest game to get a free trial weekend is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 which was released in October last year.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is now in the middle of a free weekend exclusively for the Xbox One. The free weekend will be ending tomorrow on March 5th.
The free weekend is exclusive for Xbox Live Gold members who can play the game in it’s entirety. There are no restrictions placed on this free weekend and players will be able to save their game files and achievements. All progress made in this free weekend will be saved on the players account for if they decide to purchase the game.
As expected, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is currently discounted on the Xbox store. The standard edition of the game is 40% off at $36. The deluxe edition however has 25% off pushing it down to $67.50.
All Xbox One users can make the most of this discounted price. The free weekend is just limited to Xbox Live Gold members.
According to the Xbox Wire post, the free weekend also includes all of the co-op content from the game. It confirms that the raid events are also included in the free test and all players will be able to take part in the events. The multiplayer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 should also be open for free weekend players to explore. Progress made from these portions of the game will also be saved to the account.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is also available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The other versions of this game don’t currently have any discounts right now. The Season Pass doesn’t seem to be included in the current discounts. The game will go back to it’s usual price next week on March 7th.
