ASUS has introduced the A33, a mid-tower ATX chassis with back-connect motherboard support and room for graphics cards up to 395mm long, according to Guru3D. For builders weighing their next case, those are the headline specifications: motherboard compatibility and GPU clearance, rather than a cooling-performance claim.
Guru3D’s reported specifications list support for ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. The interesting detail is the combination of those three form factors with back-connect support, making motherboard choice a central part of the A33’s appeal. That flexibility is worth considering alongside the dimensions of the components planned for a build, rather than treating the ATX label as the whole compatibility picture.
For cooling, Guru3D reports that the A33 supports a 360mm radiator at the top. ASUS also includes a graphics-card support holder and bracket intended to reduce GPU sag. The latter is a practical inclusion alongside the case’s graphics-card clearance: space to install a card and hardware to support it are separate considerations, and the A33 addresses both on its specification sheet.
The buying details are currently centered on China. Guru3D reports that ASUS has not announced confirmed international pricing or a complete retail availability schedule, so the Chinese price should not be read as a confirmed overseas offer. The A33 is available in black and white in the Chinese retail market, with the standard model carrying an adjusted equivalent price of approximately $65.62.
