First leaked images of a special edition Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 system bundle and matching Pro Controller have emerged online, showing gold Triforce motif hardware ahead of what is expected to be an imminent official announcement from Nintendo.

The leaked images, shared through gaming hardware community forums, show a gold-accented Nintendo Switch 2 system with custom Triforce etching on the rear shell alongside a matching Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller featuring the same Hyrule-inspired gold detailing.

Note: Nintendo has not officially confirmed this hardware bundle. The following details are based on leaked images and community analysis ahead of any official announcement.

What the Leaked Images Show

Based on available leaked imagery, the special edition bundle appears to include.

• Custom Gold-Accented Switch 2 System: The console dock and Joy-Con rails feature gold Triforce geometric patterning against a black base shell, consistent with Nintendo’s previous Zelda hardware aesthetic from the Switch 1 Tears of the Kingdom bundle.
• Matching Pro Controller: A Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller with the same gold Triforce motif, gold-tipped analogue sticks, and a custom Hyrule map-inspired rear shell print.
• Expected Bundle Contents: Community analysis of the box dimensions visible in leaked retail shelf images suggests the bundle includes the special edition hardware plus a digital code for the bundled Zelda title.

Historical Context

Nintendo has a strong tradition of releasing special edition Legend of Zelda hardware alongside major franchise releases. Previous examples include the Skyward Sword HD golden Joy-Con set, the Breath of the Wild Switch system bundle, and the Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED bundle — all of which sold out rapidly at launch.

The Verdict

If the leaked images prove accurate, a Zelda special edition Nintendo Switch 2 bundle would represent one of the most desirable limited hardware releases in Nintendo’s recent history — consistent with the company’s track record of premium Zelda-themed hardware delivering exceptional collector value.
