Serafini Productions and Mike Ten have announced that The Hambagu Shop is in development for Nintendo Switch. A release date or launch window has not been confirmed, with timing to be shared later.
Described as a cozy horror simulator, The Hambagu Shop puts players behind the counter of a Japanese hamburg steak restaurant. Its protagonist, Mari, inherits the shop from her late grandfather and must keep the business thriving.
That means grilling hamburger patties, preparing dishes and drinks, and serving customers. Profits can be reinvested to unlock additional menu options and upgrade the shop.
The restaurant-management routine comes with a darker side, including haunted visions, an unsettling story, loud jump scares, and a creepy VHS-style filter. Pricing, regional availability, and preorder details have not been announced.
