Gamescom Dev Draws 6,200 Participants, Up 15% in First Year Under Gamescom

Gamescom Dev closes 2026 with more than 6,200 participants, up 15%

Gamescom Dev wrapped up its 2026 event last week with more than 6,200 participants. Organizer Game Events GmbH said participation increased 15% compared with the previous year, though it did not provide an exact 2025 total.

This was the developer conference’s first year under Gamescom’s control and its first with a new conference leader. The event was previously known as Devcom before being renamed Gamescom Dev.

The available information does not establish what drove the attendance increase. Plans for the conference’s next event have not been confirmed.
