Telltale has announced on Twitter that they have a new project to show this week at the San Diego Comic Con. However, the developer hasn’t provided any hints about what this could be. Despite this, some evidence has appeared online suggesting it’s a new Batman game.

The Film & Video Labelling Body has posted a page dedicated to a new Batman game. The game is called “Batman: The Enemy Within”. It’s clearly a new game as the page is for the Season Pass. In addition to this, the game is being directed by Kent Mudle, one of Telltale’s director’s who has previously worked on The Walking Dead: Michonne and Telltale’s Game of Thrones.

This would be the second Batman game Telltale has created. The first game finished in December 2016 so the developer could be working on a sequel. GameSpot reports that Telltale’s head of communications Job Stauffer previously stated that the studio would announce several projects this summer.

However, this ‘leak’ cannot be taken as true fact a it’s possible the posting is incorrect. It’s also possible that Telltale could post-pone the game and release it later this year or in 2018 instead.

Some fans are suggesting that the new game could be The Wolf Among Us 2. The initial new tweet from Telltale was retweeted by one of the actors from the game. However, this is very weak evidence for the new game being a sequel.

The developer states that they’ll have new information to announce during SDCC this week. We currently have no idea what this new Telltale game could be however, there seems to be a strong possibility that it could be a new Batman game. The original game was well received originally so a sequel could be on the table.

We’ll bring you the latest Telltale news from the convention later this week.
