Planet Zoo 2’s development team has scheduled its next game update for early in the week commencing 9 November, with fixes for several crashes and storage bugs currently in testing. The team’s official Steam announcement is a preview of that work, not final patch notes.
One fix targets a campaign-storage hardlock that occurs after claiming a reward in the conservation project interface. Another addresses sold animals sometimes incorrectly reappearing in the animal storage interface — two distinct storage problems on the testing list alongside the crash fixes.
The team is also testing guest-appeal changes intended to balance visits to food and drink shops against restaurants. That puts management tuning alongside stability work in the planned update, rather than making this solely a bug-fix pass.
Separate from those fixes in testing, the developers are investigating automated exhibit population management and greater seasonal control in Sandbox for future updates. Additional Sandbox maps are also under investigation, beginning with North American Grasslands and European Grasslands.
