Rockstar Confirms GTA 6 Preload Times and Up to 212GB Download

GTA 6 Preloads Start November 10 on PS5, November 9 on Xbox Series X|S

Grand Theft Auto 6 preloads are reportedly set to begin on Tuesday, November 10 on PS5, with Xbox Series X|S downloads opening at 4 PM PT on November 9. The schedule comes from information shared on Discord and relayed by Insider Gaming, rather than a cited Rockstar announcement.

The timing works differently across the game’s two scheduled launch platforms. On PS5, preloads go live at midnight local time in each respective time zone. Xbox Series X|S instead gets a simultaneous global rollout, so players outside the Pacific time zone will need to use the local equivalent of that 4 PM PT start.
