Kirby and the Forgotten Land Present Codes: Every Active & Permanent Reward

Looking to stockpile Rare Stones, pocket thousands of Star Coins, and grab valuable combat buffs in Kirby and the Forgotten Land? HAL Laboratory built a secret redemption system inside Waddle Dee Town where entering special Present Codes delivers free gift packages directly to Kirby’s doorstep.

Whether you need Rare Stones to evolve high-tier Copy Abilities like Dragon Fire and Crystal Needle, or you need extra coins for the Gotcha Machine capsule figures, here is our complete, tested reference guide to every active and permanent code available.

How to Unlock & Redeem Present Codes

You cannot redeem codes right away when starting a new save file. Follow these essential steps to unlock the postal system and collect your rewards:

  1. Rescue 50 Waddle Dees: Play through the main story stages until you rescue at least 50 Waddle Dees. This automatically constructs the Waddle Dee-liveries post office in Waddle Dee Town.
  2. Connect to the Internet: Ensure your Nintendo Switch has an active internet connection, as the game validates global promotional codes online with Nintendo’s servers.
  3. Enter Codes with Exact Casing: Speak to Delivery Waddle Dee at the counter and type in the code. Present Codes are case-sensitive, so enter them in ALL CAPS exactly as shown below.
  4. Unbox Presents at Kirby’s House: Rewards do not go directly into your inventory. Delivery Waddle Dee dispatches a physical gift box to the front porch of Kirby’s House. Walk over to the house and open each present before entering your next code, as deliveries cannot stack infinitely.

Time-Sensitive & Expiring Present Codes

These promotional codes were released alongside special events and community milestones. Be sure to redeem them before their expiration dates:

Present CodeReward GrantedExpiration Date
SUMMERVACATION300 Star Coins, 1 Car-Mouth CakeAugust 31
KIRBYWADDLEDEES300 Star Coins, 1 Maxim TomatoSeptember 30
NEWYEARGIFT1,000 Star CoinsDecember 31
WADDLEDEEDELIVERY1 Rare Stone, 300 Star CoinsDecember 31

Permanent Present Codes (Always Active)

These codes are permanently hardcoded into the game. Many are hidden around Waddle Dee Town as environmental secrets or unlocked through demo completions and story milestones:

  • FIRSTPASSWORD: 100 Star Coins (Found on the flower bed in Waddle Dee Town)
  • KIRBYSTORY: 300 Star Coins (Found hidden in the Waddle Dee Cinema)
  • CLEARDEMO: 300 Star Coins (Awarded for completing the Nintendo Switch Demo)
  • NEWADVENTURE: 300 Star Coins, 1 Rare Stone (Ideal early-game boost)
  • THANKYOUKIRBY: 1,000 Star Coins, 1 Rare Stone (Massive post-game reward)
  • THANKYOUMETAKNIGHT: 3 Rare Stones (Found on the wall behind the Colosseum)
  • KIRBYMICROWAVE: 500 Star Coins, 1 Attack Boost item
  • MOUTHGULMODE: 100 Star Coins, 1 Car-Mouth Cake
  • GAMENEWS: 1 Rare Stone (Promotional Nintendo Switch News reward)
  • ADVENTUREGUIDE: 1 Rare Stone (Found on the bulletin board in town)

Strategic Impact: Maximizing Your Reward Haul

Redeeming the full slate of permanent and time-sensitive codes injects over 3,000 Star Coins and 7 Rare Stones into your reserve without having to grind through repeated Colosseum tournaments or Treasure Road time trials. In the economy of The Forgotten Land, this haul completely eliminates the mid-game upgrade bottleneck.

Because Rare Stones govern Copy Ability evolutions, using these codes early allows you to jump straight into powerhouses like Dragon Fire, Crystal Needle, and Blizzard Ice right as enemy health pools scale up in Winter Horns and Redgar Forbidden Lands. The extra Star Coins easily cover the hefty blueprint forge fees at Waddle Dee’s Weapons Shop, giving Kirby maximum offensive firepower before stepping into the final boss gauntlets.
