To celebrate Independence Day, Humble Bundle is hosting a huge sale. This new sale is called the DRM-Freedom Sale and features discounts on games without DRM protection.

Here are some of the great games on sale:

  • Outlast 2
  • The Banner Sage 2
  • Starbound
  • The Witness
  • Hollow Knight
  • Dead Cells
  • Ladykilled in a Bind
  • Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
  • Slime Rancher
  • Owlboy

And many more games. For the full list, check out the Humble Bundle store page to see the top deals from this sale.

Buyers will recieve two versions of the games they purchase. A Steam key to activate on Valve’s PC gaming platform and also the option to directly download the game. The direct download is a DRM-free version of the game. This means that it can be downloaded as many times as you wish without any restrictions.

As per usual, buyers will be able to put some money towards charity or their Humble Wallet.  Putting money into the Wallet allows players to accumulate some digital funds which can be used to purchase items from the Humble Bundle Store at a later date. When making a purchase, it’s also possible to decline using this money so players can save up a larger amount.

Humble Bundle hasn’t posted the exact end date for the sale on their store home page. However, on the sale pages for all of the game we can see that there’s currently just over 6 days left for this sale. This means then that it should be ending on July 10th. This is around the same time that the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale will be ending for the Xbox consoles also. However, the Steam Summer Sale will be ending tomorrow. This means then that anyone looking to pick up some sweet deals for their platform had best do so quickly as the sale season is almost over.
