GOKU has become the first player to defeat The Riven King on Abyss, taking down QuestAway’s final boss. Art X Games celebrated the clear in its official Steam announcement, alongside news that The Infinite Tower update will arrive next week.
The tower becomes available after players beat the game. Its floors grow harder as players climb, and there’s no ceiling — setting up an ongoing, escalating challenge beyond the final boss rather than another destination with a fixed endpoint.
The update will also improve drops and XP at lower levels. That gives the announcement a progression focus beyond the tower itself, with changes aimed at players who haven’t yet reached the post-game climb.
Separately, Art X Games outlined its approach to class balance: the plan is to make no nerfs and instead buff classes wherever the studio finds room to improve them. That’s a stated direction for balancing, rather than a confirmed list of class changes arriving with next week’s update.
