Final Fantasy Resonance PS5 Demo Out Today; Sephiroth Revealed

A free demo for Final Fantasy Resonance is available on PlayStation 5 today, giving players access to the game’s entire first chapter. Save data from the demo can be carried into the full release.

Today’s State of Play also brought a new trailer revealing that Sephiroth will appear in Final Fantasy Resonance. Players will be able to find and challenge him for a chance to unlock a special reward.

Final Fantasy Resonance uses HD-2D-style high-definition pixel art and features an evolved turn-based command battle system. The full game is scheduled to launch on October 22, 2026.
