In an interview with Glixel, executive producer Todd Howard has revealed that Bethesda is working on three large projects.
He stated that Bethesda has a good number of projects currently underway. Two of these games are “classically the scale” of what the company creates. According to Howard, their development is staggered due to the developmental overlap.
Howard didn’t reveal any details about what these two games are but he did confirm that they’re bigger than any previous game they’ve developed. These games will be different from the usual games while still keeping in line with the traditional Bethesda game types.
While it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s possible that one of these games is a new Wolfenstein game. Some hopeful fans believe that the other game could be Elder Scrolls 6 but this seems unlikely. A new The Evil Within or Rage could be a possibility.
The third new game is a mobile game which was announced by Bethesda yesterday. No details about this upcoming game have been released so far. According to Howard, the team has been wanting to make this game for quite some time. The mobile game will most likely be released in conjunction to another Bethesda series in a similar fashion to Fallout Shelter.
Bethesda has confirmed that they will be attending E3 for the third time. The developer hasn’t released any hints about what games will be shown during the event. It’s possible that the upcoming Quake Champions will receive a large segment of the show. It’s possible that these three new games will also be revealed during the show later this year.
We will continue to update you throughout the year as Bethesda releases more information about their upcoming games. We will also keep you up to date with all the latest news from E3 when the show starts later this year.
