The timing is unusually messy. DualShockers also reports that a Steam achievement-list upload appeared on the same day and exposed Persona 6 character names and story beats that Atlus had not made public. According to the report, the Persona 6 trailer shown during the Direct was almost identical to the game’s initial reveal trailer. That makes the Switch 2 confirmation the presentation’s meaningful addition rather than a broader unveiling of new footage or details.
