5 Best Selling PS4 Games of 2022

  • January 20, 2023
  • A9K Staff

The PlayStation 4 was released in 2013, and it’s already been ten years since then. Due to its continuous popularity, many new games are still coming out for its users today. With upgraded versions of the original version, such as the PS4 Pro, coming into the market, you can even enjoy 4K graphics, HDR and better frame rates.

This last year was another special year for PS4 users as a number of exceptional games were released. Popular games like God of War Ragnorok, GTA V and Elden Ring were released for both PS5 and PS4.

New releases and sequels decked with the latest technological features were aimed to provide users unique game-play that hasn’t previously been used. The gaming community was left in awe of the insanely good graphics of some of the releases, and the gripping storyline of various others.

These games are a fun way to spend some free time at home and unwind after a long day or week. This is similar to how you can enjoy online casinos at casino777.ch/it/ from the comfort of your own home after a long day of work.

This article will discuss the best selling PS4 games of 2022.

1. Grand Theft Auto V

In GTA V, you get to roam around the most ideal environment featured in any video game, Los Santos.

In the previous editions of GTA, you used to feel like you were controlling the person on the screen. The addition of first-person mode has transformed that, as it makes you feel like you are the one experiencing the actions on the screen. This unique game-play makes this more than just a video game, and turns it into an enthralling virtual experience as well.

The whole story mission takes about 30-plus hours of your time, if you are exceptionally good and possess all the necessary skills in the game.

2. Elden Ring

The gameplay of Elden Ring is really challenging from the beginning, so it’s not recommended for beginners. This is also the reason why its replay value is higher than any other game that comes within the same price range.

After the release of its masterpieces, Bloodborne and Dark Souls, FromSoftware has presented another difficult-yet-addictive gameplay in their latest release of Elden Ring. With an intricate storyline, Elden Ring promises to keep its players gripped till the very end.

You can purchase it for $59.99 at Best Buy, and it’s completely worth the price.

3. God of War Ragnarok

Following the final scene of God of War (2018), it is another master-piece sequel in the series.

In this third-person action gameplay, Kratos is determined to become a better man and guide his son to choose the right path.

It is a must-try game for those who enjoy intense combat mechanics, but not for those who are not big fans of animal scenes and do not enjoy skill trees and crafting clutter.

It was released on the 9th of November for both PS4 and PS5. For the PS4, you can buy it from the PlayStation store for $59.99 only.

4. Gran Turismo 7

For automobile lovers, Gran Turismo 7 is considered to be the best option. It offers a vast library of cars and realistic graphics. You will have the options to choose your car specs and offer a wide variety of features as that of any other modern racing game.

This game is available for both PS4 and PS5. If you have a PS4, you can purchase it for just $30 at Walmart.

5. Horizon Forbidden West

Following the 2017 released Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West offers a more interesting story in an even bigger world. At the start of the game, you will have the option to watch the recap of the first game as well.

The characters and environments in the game are realistic. The graphics and gameplay is also really exciting as well as challenging.

With this game, you can only enjoy the single-player experience as it does not offer any multiplayer components.

For PS4 users, it is available for just $30 at Walmart.
