Pre-orders for the ROG Xbox Ally X20 open later today, putting ASUS’ new Xbox-branded handheld on the calendar ahead of its October 15, 2026 release.
PureXbox reports that ASUS confirmed the pre-order timing and launch date, alongside two purchase options: the device will be sold by itself or as part of an Ultimate Bundle.
Standalone or Ultimate Bundle
The standalone option keeps the focus entirely on the handheld. The Ultimate Bundle expands that package with three named accessories, giving prospective buyers a clear choice when orders become available.
ASUS has not limited the new hardware to a single configuration, but the confirmed options remain straightforward: purchase the handheld on its own or select the larger bundle containing the full accessory lineup.
Three accessories complete the bundle
The Ultimate Bundle includes the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses, a dbrand Killswitch, and a custom Pelican Case.
That makes the package easy to distinguish from the standalone edition. Rather than offering another version of the handheld itself, the bundle adds the glasses and two branded accessories around the same device.
