Activision recently confirmed Call of Duty: World War II on Friday, and we’re already seeing some big details leaked, in true CoD fashion.
A full reveal livestream is set for Wednesday, April 26th, at 10:00 a.m. PST/1:00 p.m. EST, but fans just couldn’t wait for that. Some leaked marketing materials, shown below, reveal information on Call of Duty: World War II’s story and co-op mode.
Obviously, the marketing material shows a release date of November 3rd of this year. This makes sense since recent CoD games have all hit shelves at the beginning of November.
What’s more, the game will host a private beta event for those who pre-order. No other details are available on the beta as of now.
The game’s campaign will “enlist [players] in a gritty, intense journey through the battlegrounds of war,” according to the leaked materials. Apparently it will feature “bold, lifelike visuals” as well.
The new co-op mode will contain its own original story for you to play with your friends as long as you’re up for some “adrenaline-pumping moments.”
As for multiplayer mode, Call of Duty: World War II will place players in the war’s “most iconic locations” while allowing for some unknown “exciting new ways to interact” with others online.
Of course, none of this has been confirmed by Activision yet, but the marketing materials look legit. Regardless, we’ll likely hear all this information and more in the livestream event on Wednesday, April 26th.
We’ll be sure to bring you the biggest pieces of Call of Duty: World War II news from the event, so stay tuned.
