While not as widely beloved as something like the Playstation 2, the original Microsoft Xbox has a decently large following.  This is, in due part, to the wide variety of excellent games available.  For its time, the original Xbox not only produced visually impressive games, but memorable and innovative experiences as well.  Look no further than a game like Halo: Combat Evolved.  This game sat on the forefront of first person shooters on console and helped shape the familiar control scheme still used today.

Personal Favorites on the Original Xbox

For myself and Mat Falvai, some of our favorite Xbox games aren’t the most notable or remembered.  In fact, I cherish some of the quirkier, more unique games over blockbuster titles.  Games like Psychonauts, Timesplitters, Beyond Good and Evil, all make it on this list.  We all have a favorite underrated gem, and there are plenty of them tucked away in the original Xbox library.  Grab a nice set of headphones and enjoy a full hour of nostalgia and memories as we rank our favorite original Xbox games.
