lego-harry-potter-collection

Exciting news has been released today for Harry Potter and LEGO game fans. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have revealed that the LEGO Harry Potter games will be coming to the PS4. The two games will be released as a Collection, including Years 1-4 and Years 5-7 combined on the one disc. The Collection will feature enhanced graphics, environments, lighting and visual effects. On top of the remastered visuals, the Collection will include the following two DLC packs included on disc:

  • Character pack featuring 10 characters – Godric Gryffindor, Harry (Yule Ball), Helga Hufflepuff, Lockhart (Straightjacket), Luna (Lion Head), Peeves, Hermione (Pink Dress), Ron Weasley (Ghoul), Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin
  • Spell pack containing 5 spells – Cantis, Densaugeo, Ducklifors, Melofors and Tentaclifors

If you’re unsure of the setup of the two games, Years 1-4 was based on the first four books and films, and years 5-7 covered the final three books, and last four films. The new Collection game coincides with the upcoming film written by J.K. Rowling, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The release date has been set for Europe for the 21st of October, 2016. There has been no mention yet on other regions. The suggested retail price is £39.99 and the game has been rated for ages 7 and older.

Lachlan Cosgrove

Lachlan's passion for gaming started when he played DOS games like Commander Keen and Wacky Races. His passion grew when he discovered his Aunt's Atari 2600 and was given a Game Boy for Christmas from his Pa. His favourite console has been the PlayStation 1. Right now he has become a little lazy with gaming but still enjoys the occasional FIFA session. He hopes to get back into playing games more regularly so he can switch off from the real world like he did as a Kid. He's excited about the introduction of VR and hopes for some great VR titles.
