Take-Two has secured court approval to seek identifying information connected to the GTA 6 leaks, but Discord says the paperwork has not yet reached the company.

Discord and Microsoft subpoenas approved
Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr. granted Take-Two’s request to subpoena Discord for identifying information about users the publisher believes were tied to the leaks, IGN reports.
The court also granted Take-Two’s subpoena of Microsoft, according to the same report. Together, the approvals give the company legal avenues to request information from both platforms as it seeks to identify people it believes were involved.
The ruling itself does not mean Discord has already supplied any user details.
Discord will review the request first
Discord marketing director Ryan K. Rigney told IGN that the platform had not yet been served with a subpoena from Take-Two.
Once it receives the request, Rigney said Discord will evaluate its validity and scope before responding. That review leaves the platform’s eventual response pending, despite the court having approved Take-Two’s request.
For now, the development is procedural but consequential: Take-Two has permission to pursue the information, while Discord is waiting for formal service before deciding how to respond.
