This weekend is a great time to check out the multiplayer from the latest Call of Duty.

For the next few days, the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer is free to play on Steam. The full version of the game is not available for testing however. This is exclusive to the multiplayer section of the game and also doesn’t include the popular Zombies mode.

While there is no single player campaign or Zombies Mode, the multiplayer section of the game is completely unrestricted. Players can progress through as much of the multiplayer modes as they like. There is no level cap in place for free-to-play players this weekend. In addition to this, all progress will be saved and carried forward if the player wants to purchase the full game.

Activision is also placing a discount on the game for Steam users. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is currently 50% off which brings the standard edition of the game down to $30. The Legacy Edition however has a 33% discount and is currently available for just over $53. The Legacy Edition is still the only way to get a copy of Modern Warfare Remastered. Players hoping to pick up the Season Pass will find that it’s not on sale however it can be purchased with the Legacy Edition for a reduced price of $75.

Anyone looking to take part in this free-to-play weekend will need to download the game for a large 70 GB. The free multiplayer weekend event will last until this Sunday and end at 10 AM PT or 1 PM ET. While the free weekend will be ending on Sunday, the discounts for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will remain available until March 2nd which is next week, Thursday.

Interested players have a limited amount of time to explore the multiplayer content from the latest Call of Duty. Anyone interested should make the most of the weekend and download the game right away on Steam.
