Take that!
Capcom just announced through its Capcom Unity Twitter account that Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice is headed to iOS and Android this winter! That’s great news for Ace Attorney fans like myself. I do enjoy playing these games on my 3DS, but how convenient would it be to have a colorful, funny, and well-written visual novel game on your phone? Very, very convenient.
Of course if you’re an iPhone user, you’re already living the good life. The original Ace Attorney trilogy and Dual Destinies are available for free on the iTunes App Store. I didn’t even know that until I started writing this story. That’s incredible! I paid $30 to play the trilogy on my 3DS. Why is iOS getting all of the love? We Android lovers enjoy a good courtroom drama too, ya know.
Anyway, I hope to see Phoenix Wright on my Galaxy phone soon, but in the meantime I’ll settle for Apollo Justice. There’s no official release date right now, just “winter,” but you can pre-register here. We’ll keep you guys updated when we know more.
