The upcoming month on Xbox looks nice for Star Wars fans. Not one but two of May’s Games with Gold are Star Wars titles, which are free to Xbox Live Gold members.

In celebration of May being Star Wars Month–May the 4th be with you–Microsoft is offering up a couple free games from a galaxy far far away. The catch for these games is they’re older Xbox 360 titles.

For the first half of May, Gold members can download Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, which takes place 6 months after the first Force Unleashed game.

The last half of May features Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga as the free title. This game spans the first six episodes of the Star Wars saga and lets you play as 120 different characters.

Both of the 360 games are backwards compatible with Xbox One, obviously.

As for free Xbox One titles, the director’s cut version of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, a colorful platformer, is free the entire month of May for Gold members.

Co-op action game Lara Croft: The Temple of Osiris will be free May 16th- June 15th.

You still have time to snag most of April’s Games with Gold on your Xbox. Ryse: Son of Rome is still free to download until the last day of the month, as is the 360 title Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

The Walking Dead: Season 2 will actually be free for Gold members until May 15th, so you have a little more time to decide on that one.

Should Microsoft have stepped up and offered a free Xbox One Star Wars game for May? Let us know in the comments.

Mischa McGill

Mischa grew up with video games and still has a deep love for many - especially fun, colorful RPGs. Some of her favorites include Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Fantasy Life, Kingdom Hearts, Skyrim, Civilization V, and Stardew Valley. She loves nights in with her boyfriend cooking Mexican food, watching Studio Ghibli movies, and going head-to-head in their favorite games. Mischa might not beat you in Super Smash Bros, but she owns a replica of Arwen’s sword and Hermione’s wand, so... don’t rub it in too much.
