Like every month, Microsoft is giving free games to Xbox Live Gold members. Some are available all month, and some won’t go on sale for a couple weeks. Here’s the rundown.

Xbox One Games

Three Xbox One games will be free at various times in July: Watch Dogs, Grow Up, and Runbow. The hacker action game Watch Dogs was actually a Gold title from June, but it will be available, free of charge, until July 15th. It’s full price is $29.99.

Up for grabs the whole month of July is Grow Up, a spacey adventure where you play a robot looking for MOM, your parental spaceship. Save yourself the $9.99 and download it now.

Starting July 16th, you can get the colorful platform racing game Runbow for the low price of $0.00. Like Watch Dogs, it will be available into the middle of the following month, so the deal will go away August 15th.

Xbox 360 Games

The two Xbox 360 games don’t have quite as complicated availabilities as the previous titles. Kane & Lynch 2 is free right now until the 15th, and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean will take its place the following day. They’re normally priced at $14.99 and $19.99, respectively.

Check out the full list of July’s Games with Gold and their dates below.

  • Watch Dogs: 6/16- 7/15 (X1)
  • Grow Up: 7/01- 7/31 (X1)
  • Kane & Lynch 2: 7/01- 7/15 (360)
  • Runbow: 7/16- 8/15 (X1)
  • LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: 7/16- 7/30 (360)

Mischa McGill

Mischa grew up with video games and still has a deep love for many - especially fun, colorful RPGs. Some of her favorites include Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Fantasy Life, Kingdom Hearts, Skyrim, Civilization V, and Stardew Valley. She loves nights in with her boyfriend cooking Mexican food, watching Studio Ghibli movies, and going head-to-head in their favorite games. Mischa might not beat you in Super Smash Bros, but she owns a replica of Arwen’s sword and Hermione’s wand, so... don’t rub it in too much.
