Ubisoft has finally confirmed the release date for their upcoming South Park game. South Park: The Fractured But Whole was originally slated for a December 2016 release however the game was delayed until 2017. At the time, there was no release date for the game.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be releasing on October 17th. This is an international release date and all regions will be receiving this game at the same time. A new trailer release has also come from Ubisoft to commemorate the final (hopefully) release date reveal.

According to GameSpot, Ubisoft has also released a press release alongside the trailer. In the press release it states that Cartman decides to save the town from crime and create the best “superhero franchise ever”. Cartman takes on the identity of “The Coon” while his friends become other superheroes.

Players will continue to play as the New Kid in this game. During the game, players will uncover their backstory, collect unique costumes and utilize their amazing fart-based powers to create an original hero. According to the press release, players will have several different classes to select between.

The game also features an “all-new combat system” which allows players to manipulate space and time. Details on this system are very limited however. The press release also reveals that the game will have a new looting and crafting system. Players will have the “freedom to craft their own equipment” which can be used in battles.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be releasing on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. The game will be coming out on October 17th later this year however, Ubisoft will most likely show some more content from the game at E3.

In other Ubisoft news, the company has announced their E3 press conference time and date. You can read more about this here.
