The PlayStation Days of Play 2017 has begun with the release of a newly colored PS4 and a sale on various games and system accessories. The discounts last from June 9th through E3 until June 17th.

Days of Play

Headlining the Days of Play 2017 is a gold-colored 1 TB PS4 Slim for $250 MSRP. Of course, it comes with a DualShock 4 wireless controller to match. 1TB PS4’s go for $300 right now, so the gold edition’s price will likely increase to match that after Days of Play.

If you’re looking for new accessories to go with your new luxury console, Sony has marked down all DualShock 4 controllers to $40 during the sale. Additionally, the Gold Wireless Headset — that… isn’t actually gold? — is discounted at $80.

As for games, Sony is giving a $40 price point to some big titles, such as Horizon: Zero Dawn, Nioh, MLB The Show 17, and Prey. Other deals include Watch Dogs 2 ($30), Battlefield 1 ($35), Final Fantasy XV ($35), Uncharted 4: A Thief End ($20), Mass Effect: Andromeda ($30), Yooka-Laylee ($20). Some of the listed games have special editions on sale as well. See the official Days of Play site for a full list.

This sale is open to everyone, but many PlayStation sales are available just for PS Plus members. You can pay for your membership on a monthly or yearly basis, and the annual pass for PS Plus is going for $50 instead of $60 currently.

What’s more, anyone that spends $100 on the PlayStation Store will receive a $15 credit to their account. This offer lasts a teensy bit longer than the rest of the sale, as you have until June 20th at 11:59pm PT / 2:59pm ET to spend that $100. And yes, those discounted PS Plus memberships count towards the $100.

Are you going to snatch up any of these Days of Plays deals? Let us know in the comments!

Mischa McGill

Mischa grew up with video games and still has a deep love for many - especially fun, colorful RPGs. Some of her favorites include Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Fantasy Life, Kingdom Hearts, Skyrim, Civilization V, and Stardew Valley. She loves nights in with her boyfriend cooking Mexican food, watching Studio Ghibli movies, and going head-to-head in their favorite games. Mischa might not beat you in Super Smash Bros, but she owns a replica of Arwen’s sword and Hermione’s wand, so... don’t rub it in too much.
