PlayStation Store is having a $5 Flash Sale

Sony has just launched a brand new PlayStation Store sale focusing on deals that are $5 or less.

The new PlayStation Store sale is spread across the PS4, PS3 and also the handheld consoles. The sale also includes a range of movies which can be rent or permanently purchased from the store.

This new sale will run from today until January 23rd making this a weekend only sale. The PlayStation Store page lists a number of games included in the sale such as The Order: 1886 and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.

In addition to this sale, the “Games under €20” is back for European gamers. A host of quality titles are now available for under €20 from the PlayStation Store. There’s no news yet about this sale coming to other regions and PlayStation stores. More detail about this sale can be found on the official blog post here.

In other PlayStation news, the PlayStation VR has just received an update to provide support for 360-degree Youtube videos.
