Nintendo Switch gamers will finally be able to play as the popular ARMS character Twintelle in this weekend’s Global Testpunch. Find out the times and details of the event below.
Twintelle was a hit with ARMS fans as soon as she was revealed thanks to her character design — mostly that booty. Instead of her arms, Twintelle fights with her long, luxurious pigtails and can temporarily slow all incoming attacks in a small area around her by charging her arms in any way except blocking.
Though it appears Twintelle wasn’t planned to be offered as a fighter in this weekend’s Testpunch, the official ARMS Twitter account [via Siliconera] announced her inclusion due to high player demand.
The tweet only mentions the June 3rd and 4th dates, so Twintelle might not be playable in today’s Friday evening Testpunch, which is limited to North American Switch owners only.
The full schedule for the second round of the ARMS Global Testpunch is below:
- June 2nd Friday (North America only)
- 5:00pm PST/8:00pm EST
- June 3rd Saturday
- 5:00am PST/8:00am EST
- 11:00am PST/2:00pm EST
- 5:00pm PST/8:00pm EST
- June 4th Sunday
- 5:00am PST/8:00am EST
- 11:00am PST/2:00pm EST
As for new arms you’ll get to use with Twintelle, the official ARMS website lists her Standard Arms as the Chilla, Parasol, and Thunderbird. The Chilla arm is an ice-type punching glove, the Parasol throws an elegant shield punch, and the Thunderbird sends electrified birds darting at enemies.
Twintelle has her own stage, called the Cinema Deux, which is outside Twintelle’s own giant theater with a range of luxury cars placed throughout. No word if we’ll get to try out this stage in the Testpunch, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
One other new addition to this Testpunch is the Hoops mode, which tasks players with dunking their opponents through basketball hoops.
