It’s a great time to be a PS4 owner.

Modern Warfare Remastered

Okay, Activision. We get it. You really favor Sony this generation. PS4 owners are getting treated to a veritable shower of benefits and perks for the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Players on PS4 will be the first to try out the game’s multiplayer beta which will go live October 4, and then a week later on Xbox One. It’s not just Infinite Warfare showing up early to the party, though.

Activision and Infinity Ward revealed today, via a nifty new trailer that I’ll embed below, an incredible new perk for Call of Duty fans on PS4. The full single-player campaign for Modern Warfare Remastered will be playable 30 days early for anyone who orders eligible versions of Infinite Warfare on PS4. By “eligible versions” I mean the Legacy Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition – anything that comes with Modern Warfare Remastered.

Multiplayer won’t be available until launch on November 4, but this will be a great opportunity to see how Raven Software’s remaster turned out. They must be really confident in the final product if they’re willing to show it off so soon. I don’t know about you guys, but I know what I’ll be doing Wednesday night! Check out the launch trailer below:
